ABOUT DAVID CASTELLO-LOPES
Author, director, composer and journalist, formerly head of the video department for the newspaper Le Monde, David Castello-Lopes made himself known with the sketch series “Depuis Quand” broadcast on Canal + where he explains in a humorous tone the origin of “things of life”.
Since 2020, he has been directing “Suisse ?” a section for the RTS television channel deciphering clichés about the country by bringing a caustic look to them as well as the “Intéressant” column for the magazine 28 minutes on Arte.

The use of humorous songs within his sections has allowed him to make himself known to a large audience on social networks, regularly reaching the top YouTube trends and his songs being covered thousands of times on the Internet.

Continuing the exploration of these themes with a weekly column on Europe 1 entitled “Les Origines” where he looks back on the birth of things that no one is interested in, like Tipp-ex or spam, etc.
